Chili was doing his normal (yet far from mandatory) rounds to make sure that everything was in order for his muffin making of the week. He perked up and turned around when he spotted a familiar ranger.

"Calli!" he said, waving his hands. He tied an apron around his waist and went out to greet her. "What can I do for you today?"

Cal hugged him in greeting and sparkled, "With so many new Rangers we have run out of muffins HELLA FAST, could we get some more, sunflower?"

Chili turned an embarrassed shade of pink. "I'm so sorry, Calli. We are all out of muffins!" He crossed his arms in thought. "Would you...wanna help me make them?"

"of course! i mean.. i doubt i could ever make them as good at you but i can try!" Cal said, determination in her eyes

Chili nodded. He handed Cal an apron and told her to tie it around her waist. "First off...let's remove those gloves, shall we? We need to have nice and clean hands when we work in the kitchen."

Cal took off her gloves and tucked them into her pocket, then rolled up her sleeves, "like this,love?"

Chili clapped his hands together. "Right! Now to wash up over here. Kyona says hygeine and cleanliness is of upmost importance!" After he had given his hands and arms a good scrub, he marched off into the kitchen. "LEt's choose a recipe, shall we? I do not need a recipe to make muffins, I have memorized them all, but I want to teach you the proper way to start off in beginning techniques."

Calli dried her hands on a towel and skipped after him to the counter where he dropped the cook book. It was huge and covered in flower that danceD off the pages in ghastly trwndials. She watched him flip to a page with a picture of a very aesthetic Blueberry muffin and he read off the ingredients.

Chili's face turned red. "Cal, we aren't looking at pornography. Why are you...oh I see. Yes. Sometimes I am overtaken by the seduction of the muffin as well." He fanned himself and winked, then pointed to a bucket of flour. "5 cups of flour, please. We're making several dozen."

Cal looked around for FLOWERS and got really confused, "um.. do you want me to get some feom outside?"

Chili gave a small laugh. "My dear, my dear. Flour is not the same thing as FLOWERS...here...it's magical white pixie dust which is the foundation for all muffins."
(No need to tell her it's ground up wheat plants...hah...He thought to himself.)

Cal rolls some between her fingers in awe, "this is the sacred dust from henceforth the universe was birthed."

Chili gave a faint laugh, then got a bowl. On a more serious note, he was concerned about Calliope's health as far as her drug abuse. He wasn't the smartest chef around, but he knew that she could do a lot better for herself.

"Hey, Calli, what's your favorite thing to eat?" Chili asked as he retrieved butter from the fridge.

"Oh I really love your muffins chilli. It's like 80% of my diet." She said hapilly, "but I also really like veggitarian stir fry. How about you?"
